Munroe Island
Munroe Island also known as Munrothuruthu is located at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, in Kollam district. The island is accessible by road, rail and inland water navigation. The place is named in honor of Resident Colonel John Munroe of the former princely state of Travancore.
During his tenure, Munroe saw the land reclamation in the delta where the Kallada river joins Ashtamudi Lake and the island was named after him as Munroe Island. The Dutch Church in Munroe Island is one of the ancient Churches in Kerala. The Island village is a tourism destination where one can see the coir retting process, coir weaving, fishing, prawns feeding, migratory bird watch, narrow canals and waterways, coconut farms on the lakeshore, lagoons, mangrove plants and the beautiful tiny islands.

Idukki
Idukki (meaning 'a deep gorge' in Malayalam) is concealed beautifully in the steep and lush hills. Being one of the most nature-rich areas of Kerala, Idukki is famous for its scenic hill stations. More than half of its area is covered with forest. They are enchanting and pulls tourists and visitors across the world to feel the rhythm of nature. Idukki is also known as the spice garden of Kerala.
Munnar
Munnar means three rivers(Mun-aar) in Malayalam. It is surrounded by 3 rivers. In earlier days, Britishers developed it for tea cultivation. Munnar is known for its beautiful tea plantation that is spread over large areas. Munnar is a hotspot destination of Kerala, a hill station of divine beauty. Munnar, with its serene beauty, attracts people all around. They come attracted naturally by its captivating beauty and soothing environment.
Alappuzha
Also known as Alleppey, is often called 'Venice of the East' due to the canals that connect it to Kerala's famous backwaters. Kerala Backwaters are amazingly beautiful and are the major attraction of tourists in the state.
